Conventions
In principle, it is possible for any user to contribute to the Metrisquare platform. However, it is important that
this does not result in an unknown quality. A test will only get certified, in case it
is implemented according to the conventions described here. Besides this certificate, users can rate
tests, in order to provide feedback on the quality to other users.
Structure
A Metrisquare DiagnoseIS test can contain subtests. A test is a set of pages. Each page contains
a plane for the assistant, a plane for the client, as well as a plane which is used by the computer for the registration of responses.
Layout
When designing a test in DiagnoseIS, the paper-and-pencil-look-and-feel should be respected whenever possible.
The background should therefore be light, with a contrasting foreground. Make sure the client screen only contains
information relevant for the client, minimizing destractions during the test.
Abbreviations and terms
In case abbreviations are used, these should be explained further in the manual. Whenever possible, clear
terms should be used, which need no explanation, or can be regarded standard terms.
Interpretion
Make sure to at least provide and explain the categories Low, Medium and Hight. The descriptions should be short and
clear. Since the interpretions end up in the report, their text should be clear for the targeted users.
Manual
The following elements should be discussed in the manual:
